Dashboard

After logging into Less Accounting, the dashboard is your home page. Here you will find snapshots and charts of the major components of the accounting application. From the dashboard you can see an expense overview, chart cash flow, see which invoices haven't been paid and see what expenses need to be paid.

Watch Money

Run, view and export reports including: transactions, profit and loss, mileage, payables, payroll, receivables and sales tax. Unlike the other areas of the accounting app we use conventional accounting names for our reports. These are not to scare you, it's for your accountant's benefit at tax time. Here you can see your data in various ways.

Money Out

Track expenses, log your vehicle's mileage and transfer funds. Properly tracking business expenses and mileage can save you thousands at the end of the year for tax time. Keeping a proper log of accounts payable and business expenses is the foundation of solid accounting.

Money In

Create, organize and send your invoices, proposals, deposits and payments. Send a proposal to a contact, once the proposal is accepted turn that proposal into an invoice. Invoice your clients and customers via pdf or a html email, you can even set your invoices to reoccur. Track payments on invoices to keep a tab on your accounts receivable.

Contacts

Use this simple CRM to input your contacts' information and record notes about them. We designed the accounting app to import your contacts from Highrise, Basecamp and Gmail. You can assign expenses, invoices, proposals and payments to each of your contacts.

Business Settings

This area is your control panel for the accounting app. Edit your business settings, add your logo. member permissions, expense categories, bank accounts, vehicles and templates.
